I have for sale a very clean, well preserved 2005 Ford F-450 Crew Cab Lariat 4X4 with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel. This truck was purchased from the original owner about two years ago, and has only been driven about 8,000 miles since. We simply have no need for such a heavy duty truck, despite how wonderful a vehicle it is. The truck has never had any accidents, nor has it ever had any body work. The truck is free of rust, and is extremely clean all over. The interior is free of any stains, tears, or odors, and the undercarriage is very clean and free of damage, leaks etc. ALL paperwork and service documents from date of purchase will come with the truck. It has been dealer maintained over the years, and has had the typical 6.0L pattern failures taken care of at various intervals. While it has not been "bulletproofed", it is not exhibiting any issues pertaining to these failures. The routine maintenance I have done annually consists of flush/fill of front and rear differentials, transmission flush with filter, oil change, fuel filters changed etc. It does have a new FICM as of last summer, and I elected to replace both batteries this July. The truck runs and performs very well, although it has a "stutter" at highway speeds. I am told it needs the FICM to injector wiring harness, as all engine parameters are fine, and no check engine lights or faults ever appear. The truck rarely sees use with our family, therefore I have not taken the time to deal with this. The harness is around $300 through Ford parts, and should clear up the slight occasional stutter the truck exhibits. As for the truck, it is a Manning conversion, with factory truck bed on the F-450 chassis. The GVWR on the truck is 16,000lb, and the axle is an 8L code, which is a 4:88. The truck has Alcoa 19.5" wheels from the factory. If you are looking for an extremely clean, clean title, highly capable vehicle, this is your truck. It is super nice, as you can see in the photos. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me an email and we can talk via phone if you like. The truck is for sale locally in Lexington, KY, and I reserve the right to remove the listing if it should sell prior to auction end. I am not looking to trade for anything, and the transaction will need to be processed at my local credit union. Payment via cash in person, or direct wire transfer from institution to institution acceptable, so title can be transferred easily and immediately. Thank you for looking, and have a blessed day.
